How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I the only part of my life where music hasnt been available on the internet was as a child. growing up I bought cd's or lifted them from the shopping mall or large chain stores in my home town. In my early twenties I spent most of my money on vinyl and cds at the more specialized shops, Let it Be, Wide Angle, Eclipse.. I just couldnt get enough, I started producing around that time, tweaking towying around, trying to make good music, there are alot of directions a person can go in making music, I tend to go between making fast and slow songs that reflect my interest in turntablism, djing, dance music, hip hop, trip hop, etc... music that I found in clubs, those record shops, and on the internet (as well as through friends) I think the internet breakthrough of the latter parts of the 20th century changed the music industry, how so, would probably be in that accessability can be good and bad for business. For community, or forum of discussion it is an unpresidented avenue for which we can contact others, for good and bad, and for promotion of musicians, for me, its not the complete story, but its a start.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, although considering the internal development standards of major labels and the context/style of my music, it would likely take a considerable amount of good fortune and improbable coincidence to see that happen

so if I hold my breath I might, pop!
