This is an underground rap collective from the G.R.E.A.T. Northwest...it basically consists of a family of rappers that, over time, has slowly crafted their own unique sound and gained a following amongst their peers along much of the I-5 corridor...stretching from Everett and Seattle all the way as far south as Oakland and Sacramento.
Why this name?
The name came out of a conversation about the state of young urban males in the area, and the oppressive nature of their collective experiences as such...hence, 'LockDown4Life'
