C. JONE$ is not your average southern rapper... Born and raised in the state of Mississippi but currently residing in Virginia. This artist has a lyrical capability that distinctly sets him apart from many of his dirty south peers, not to mention that he is also a talented producer. Hailing from the state known for its legendary blues singers and musicians, C. JONE$ was drawn to music at an early ...age. Although he started out as a rapper, he had a strong interest in becoming a well rounded artist, which eventually led him to become a producer. This young entrepreneur is a jack of all trades. Ranging from writing, producing, engineering, publishing, copyrighting and promoting his own music. He is also the CEO of his own production company called C. JONE$ Muzik Inc. Which has enabled him to independently release numerous projects. He executive produced his last project which was called "C. JONE$ Muzik: Chapter 1." Currently he is working on his new album "Legend In My Mind". Stay tuned and become a part of something great...

Why this name?
C. JONE$, it's self explanitory.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps indie artists like myself make our songs available to the world. It also gives the people that support you easy access to your music and new updates.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course... I think that would be a good move because I want my muzik to reach as many people as possible. But I just do it for the love, I'm in no way pressed on getting a record deal.
Band History:
I started off by rapping solo. Then I bounced around from a couple of underground rap groups. At the time, the group that I was in couldn't get any beats or find any good producers. So I kinda took it upon myself to start making beats. My intrest in beat making inspired me to become more involved in production. Which led me to become a music producer. Eventually members in the group that I was in began to have conflict between one another. So that led to the group breaking up. I tried the group and the duo thing after that but it didn't work out. So I decided to become a solo recording artist and it's been on ever since. I realized that I work better alone. Plus I don't have to split my doe with nobody.
