I have been singing with and without bands for many years, mostly covers. I do not like putting my music in any genre as I like to sing all types of music. MY FAVOURITE IS CLASSIC ROCK AND SOUL.
Why this name?
It is my name and the "big" part was added because of my size.

Regular gigs in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

Yes it makes music more accessible and broadens tastes.

Probably but would depend on the deal.
