I'm Capeesh, proud to be a white rapper. Far from a gangsta rapper. I use a really complex flow. I use back to back rhymes, internal rhyming, and syllabul sound combine. I do a lot of contreversial songs. I take political sides and take lyrical shots at whoever I feel like.
Why this name?
Capeesh is Italian for "Understand". I'm Italian and it's a really unquie name which fits me.
Do you play live?
I've been in numerous rap battles, both public and contest ones. I'm recently made it into the final round of "Freestyle Fire" at myhoodradiostation.com and I'm competing for the championshup. I love the spotlight, it's great to see the expression on peoples face when they actually hear you rip it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It sucks, everybody downloads songs, and all the hard work put into making a song let alone and album doesn't get it's payoff.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeah! I'd love to sign with Shady/Aftermath.
Band History:
I started rapping when I was 12, I was the only white kid in the hood and everyone else did it. My first rap name was "Choice" and then I changed it once I really started to develope myself.
Your influences?
Eminem- he's got a similar life story and he's become a hip-hop legend. He's got one of the nastiest flows out there and he's a lyrical genius which a lot of people don't really listen to. They just hear him rapping about dumb sh*** a lot of times.
Favorite spot?
I love Harrisburg. I'd love to put it on the map. That's why I'm reppin' "Seven Seventeen" (717)
