play lo-fi play hi-fi  Mary's Christmas
I am very fortunate to have Curtis Willey as my son-in-law. I write lyrics and he puts them to music with his guitar and smooth as Kahlua and Cream voice,
Why this name?
His parents chose that name for him, we had nothing to do with it.
Do you play live?
Curtis lives in Connecticut and occassionally plays in bands around his area of Manchester.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Everyone walks around with earphones in their ears. I remember a time when we'd go into a music store and sit in a private booth to listen to a record to see if we wanted to buy it. Now we can just go to our computers at home and listen to any song we want, and, we don't have to buy it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a New York minute.
Your influences?
I am very much influenced by The Statler Brothers and their marvelous way their songs are a play on words
Equipment used:
Either a pencil or a computer. Curtis uses a guitar.
