Greetings, friends. This is a small website for everyone interested in seeing where I go in the next few years. This will compile my music and journey toward college. I hope you enjoy this token of appreciation from myself to you.
Do you play live?
I currently play Oboe with the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble and Turpin Ensembles. I also play piano with the Turpin Jazz band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a great tool of use to us all in the music industry for its potential to spread knowledge and music far beyond the reach of past mediums. While it comes with its own set of problems, the potential for growth is enormous.

The mp3 I feel does not accurately represent live sound yet, but as digital technology improves, the ability for digital formats to correctly render music will hopefully make music listening that much more enjoyable.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Honestly, probably not. There's not really a genre for my music in the major label companies.
Band History:
I started composing in 2000 as a 5th grader doing an arrangement of "Winter Wonderland." I than moved on to transcribe Beatles tunes.

My first real work was "Memories" about the Attack of September 11, 2001. This premiered at a school function. I than started composing orchestral works for PTA Reflections winning state awards, for teachers as gifts and small ensembles.

The true breakthrough happened in 2005 when I composed some orchestral transition sequences for the high school play "Fall of the House of Usher." I received a special award Cappie from the Cappies association of Greater Cincinnati for my compositions. This launched my efforts to compose more.

My next large endeavour was composing a film score for the short film "Jenkin and Son" by Director Mike Goubeaux about a father and his mentally disabled son working together in the city.

From than on, I have composed transitions for various functions, arrangements for Marching bands and orchestras, and compositions for various ensembles around Cincinnati.

The journey has only begun. I can't wait to see where life will take me next.

Your influences?
This music is an orchestral blend of John Williams, Arron Copeland and Alan Silvestri.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot is looking over the city scape of Cincinnati or watching the trees on a winter day.
