'Nuages' are a professional guitar duo based in Swindon, Wilts UK.
Playing swing jazz, jazz standards, gypsy jazz and Latin based guitar music, 'Nuages' are available to play through out the south of England, London and the home counties and regularly make excursions in to northern Europe.
Although Steve and Ian first met over 20 years ago they didn't form 'Nuages' until the autumn of 1999. Since then 'Nuages' has gone on to become well known throughout the UK and Europe performing at jazz festivals, corporate and private functions, hotels, restaurants, as well as appearing on radio and French television

Why this name?
Nuages (meaning French for Clouds) was a tune written by and made famous by Django Reinhardt in the 1940's. Ian and Steve first in a band called Cloud so it seemed appropiate.

Festivals, parties,weddings, funerals. You name will be there.

Yeah like they sign up people over 40.
Your influences?
Many of the great guitar players such as Django Reinhardt, Joe Pass, Barney Kessel, Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlowe, Charlie Christian, Doug Raney, Grant Green, Jim Hall Kenny Burrell, Lenny Brea, Birelli Lagrene. etc. etc.
Favorite spot?
Tye Django Reinhardt Festival at Samois south of Paris.

Either Jazz Archtop guitars or replicas of Selmer/Maccaferri guitars
