About the song
A tribute to Sputnik, chairman and founder of the Texas Motorcycle Rights' Association (TMRA 2). Sputnik, who recently passed away, was a nationally known political activist. He authored several pieces of legislation that became law in Texas. Sputnik's Law gave Texas riders the freedom of choice concerning helmet use. He also heavily promoted the motorcycle rider education course, which has saved countless lives.
