Artistic Apostles was spawned around mid Sepetember. Infact, the week before the September 11th terrorist attacks. Myself and J-Slice ("CEO's" of the crew) decided on the name to be Artistic Apostles. We first started out as text emcees, posting on multi forum boards such as www.rapmusic.com , www.flowdoctors.com , etc. Then, when most of the crew started getting into audio, we've then begun to take it seriously. TruestPain (me), was prolly the most frequently posting audio emcee in the crew along with J-Slice, Dove Dozer and B-Blaze. Now, since we're takeing it fully with in audio, we've decided to create a site here at soundclick.com, to show our collabos and such. With not just ourselves (the crew) but with other net emcees or emcees that we know personally in our how towns.
Why this name?
I chose this screenname along with the help of J-Slice (which was mainly his idea to make the name prominant as a crew title). The reason being that it was said to be THEE crew name was because, it stands out, it's original, has a 'hard' kind of tone to it.
Do you play live?
I know for sure there's two people with in my crew that play live. I (truestpain) play live sometimes at clubs (if i'm lucky), mostly at parties and school talent shows or dances and sometimes these open mic cafe' night-clubs where everyone sits around, smokes cigs and has a good-time. Though, prolly Dove Dozer does a more of a higher job with in performing live. Last time I heard, he performed for 300 people live (give him props).

Myself is from Rhode Island. Dove Dozer is from Canada.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Not sure how to comment on it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
To keep it simple. We're all tryna get heard and noticed.
Your influences?
Well, for the crew itself, the musical influences would have to be of Tupac, Canibus, Eminem and D12, Dialated Peoplez, Wu-Tang, LL COOL J, Linkin Park, Staind, and sometimes even undgeround emcees such as ourselves.
Favorite spot?
In the studio.
Equipment used:
We use a mic, computer, mixing program and vuola... Magic!
Anything else...?
Not that i know of.
