Santa Cruz is a band that worships Jesus Christ through music, and plays live in numerous churches in Sydney, Australia.
The Band was formed in 2005, and most of its songs are original compositions for praise and worship.
The band plays mostly latin rhythms such as salsa, cumbia, joropo, bossa and many other contagious rhythms. The Venezuelan Cuatro (Ukelele) is a very distinctive sound in Santa Cruz' pieces.

Why this name?
We had a gig in one Festival in Sydney and they asked if we had a name, so we came up with "Santa Cruz" which means "Holy Cross"
