Performing since I was 12, I have been involved with the music business for more years than I care to mention. :)
I started in garage bands playing parties and school dances then moved on to the club scene in later years. I performed live for off and on for over 20 years...now concentrating on writing and recording.
Why this name?
My Band name is quite simple...it's my initials.
Do you play live?
I perform live on internet radio only these days.
As for special moments...there are so many I'll have to get back to you on that one :)
Probably the most special is that I lived through some of the dives I've played in. lol

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has changed the music business a great deal...some good...some not so good.
It has opened up the market to the "indie artist" which was controlled by the record companies before. The net has also de-valued music a great deal as less and less people buy pre-recorded music. I see a major change in the way music will be financed in the future.
If you have an indie artist you like...please support his music by buying a CD if he has one.
Blood, sweat and tears...not to mention a great deal of time and money was invest so that you might enjoy it.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. I would still sign for a couple reasons.
The main being distrubution. Record companies (even though their markets are slipping) still have most of the control on what get played on the radio (air waves) and what CD get handled in stores. Although I have a number of CD available my main interest is in writing these days so it doesn't affect me as greatly as it does others.

Your influences?
I love music in general. I can find merit in all forms of it. I guess there are a few that have had more influence on my music than others but my tastes are so wide that it's really hard to pin down.
The Beachboys...I love their vocals.
Bill Joel...I don't think anyone can turn a phrase the way he can.
Vince Gill...what a wonderful voice...I wish I could come close.
Henry Mancini...wonderful writer and arranger.
NSYNC....again great vocals with a pop edge.
Ricky Nelson a smooth coutry/rock/pop style.
Queen....innovative.
The list goes on and on...I'm sure I have already bored you. :)

Favorite spot?
Hummmmm....now that's tough.
I guess I would have to say the Sierras around Bridgeport Ca.

Equipment used:
These days I play mostly my QS8 Alesis keyboard and my Yamaha SSC 500 guitar.
Anything else...?
I guess I'm a little different from most musicians. One day I'll write and perform funk the next country...the day after jazz...and the next classical. My mood dictates what I write and play. The draw back? Putting me in a tiddy little box that says "His music is ____".
You fill in the blanks...I can't. :)
