Personally, it gives me more of an oppurtunity to hear music from artist I'd more than likely never know about if it were not for mp3's. It's not always a good thing but I think overall in the longrun the music industry will benefit from having unsigned artist have an equal shot at promoting themselves on the internet so some of those unsigned artist may turn into signed artist.

Music of all kinds is what influences me. Im into hip hop but i mainly like to listen to old r&b, plus from a true musician's standpoint i love to play classical and jazz.
