Debuting my rapping hurtle in 2005, and being lucky enough to be taken under the wing of accomplished producer Alwyn, of Komodo studios (The same studio that will Record “The Unwritten truth") debuting my LP in 2007. Simply titled “The Unwritten truth”, this album features singles “Our Show” and “Hands on you” showing a side of me that as a rapper, while still developing my skills, showed clear signs of some real talent. I also cleverly try to avoiding the Vanilla Ice stigma, An try to establish myself as a somewhat cartoony, yet still fairly respectable hip-hop artist.
Why this name?
The name Mrash additionally came to me when I was writing a song call “My Demons” I was feeling down at the time an was trying to come up with names an it hit me that my music is inspired by depression so I took the work Marsh-pit An changed it to Mrash.
Do you play live?
Nah as of rite now most of my time is spent working in the studio on my debut album "The Unwritten truth" But I have hopes of playing this album out for a live audience
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet has a devastation toil on the music industry as a whole simply based on the fact that there are so many download programs people can get there hands on now days, Though it has helped me a lot setting my CD up an getting me off the ground
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea i would sign with any one rite now to get off the ground lol But still don't feel Id be ready for that but maybe one day
Your influences?
It's funny the first Rapper i ever really lision to was "Eminem" a song called "Get you Mad" then "Stan" from that point ive always been a fan but not just of "Eminem" All of shady aftermath Tupac,DMX,Nas,Jay Z, 50 cent, G-unit,Game,Cypress Hill,B.I.G An so on
Favorite spot?
I'd have to say my favourite spot would be in the studio working on a new song, Just Energy the vibe an you know you have a good song on your hands after vibeing with it to it 3 or 4 times an getting sick of it there always the more popular songs
