Why this name?
Artivous was my grandfather's first name and in turn it became my middle name. How a black man in living in rural Maryland in the early 1900's ended up with a name that sounds vaguely Greek is beyond me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
1. Nobody's ever going diamond again.
2. Because of ringtones, one hit single will not sell your album. (with the exception of Chamilloinaire, i dont know how the f*** that happened).
3. Artists are broker than ever.
4. There is a choice: be famous or make money. The two are now
almost mutually exclusive.
5. People are going to make dope albums again (hopefully).

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Shit, everybody wants to be famous.
