I'm a 22 year old eclectic pop/electronic singer/songwriter from the Western New York area. My dream has always been to become a successful singer/songwriter and I've learned a lot about the business in the last 5 years. I'm also looking for other songwriters/producers to work with to help add the extra touch to the sound I'm going for.
The sound I am going for varies from Madonna to Ciara, from Garbage to Avril Lavigne. I’m trying to create my own sound that’s original yet familiar, and fits me perfectly.

Do you play live?
I have in the past, but haven't within the last few years. But I would like to again.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it changes the music industry dramatically by artists being able to showcase there music to a larger audience. Some people don't have the capabilities for some reason or another to perform in their area, and I think this helps them to get there name out in other ways. MP3 charts, myspace, etc.
And now with the new chart rules, esp in the UK, an unsigned band has the potential of getting onto the singles charts. I would love to do this myself.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe. I'm trying to do it all on my own. I would just like to prove that any one can do it on there own with the right resources in their hands.

Too many to list, but here is a start: Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, Fiona Apple, Marilyn Manson, Paula Cole, Hilary Duff, Nine Inch Nails, Good Charlotte, Lindsay Lohan, Brandy, Janet Jackson, Sade, Dido, etc!
Favorite spot?
I loved Columbia, SC. I was there for training since in the National Guard.
