Why this name?
It's my first and middle name. One from the Old Testament, and one from the New Testament. zombieKAT represents living a life of being dead to self. Also that I've died ten times and I still came back. :D Shut up.
Do you play live?
I play wherver I can myself behind a microphone. I'll play for youth groups, small concerts, large concerts, back yard partes, front yard parties, LAN parties, Republican parties, Democratic parties, third parties, fundraisers, funerals, etc... I'm not super picky.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an amazing tool. Myspace fans contribute a lot to indie bands. Especially those sad emo kids. "Cheer up emo kid." Man, I remember when emo meant that you looked like a geek... With thick frames... and a depressed countenance. Now, it's like "Hey sis! Let me borrow your pants!" Poor, poor, poor emo kids.
I like the internet, though.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Thanks (again) to myspace, bands are starting to really make it independently. I think I'll take a shot at it!

Equipment used:
Well, my beats are made with acid DJ, my Korg EM-1 drum machine, my Yamaha (consumer model) keyboard, my guitar, and anything I can use to sample. I use a free download drum machine called Hammerhead Rythm station... Look that one up. It's fun. I make funny noises with my mouth. I think those people who listen to that rap stuff (what's hip hop?) call it THE HUMAN BEAT BOX. what. d:]
