Olivia has a beautiful voice that immediately grabs your attention. Olivia does not “put on a voice” like so many other pop artists do. People who listen to Olivia hear the sweetness of Natalie Imbruglia, the warmth of Enya and Faith Hill, the sassy of Madonna, the folk and sensitivity of Jewel, and the harmonies of KD Lang. She has an eclectic sound which makes her interesting, new and original. Olivia was nominated in the first Grammy nominations list 2007 for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal.
Olivia is unusual because, unlike so many other pop artists that we see now, she writes her own material, plays an instrument while performing, and has an amazing voice. She is the Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette and Susan Vega of the past. Her musical styles range from pop to country to alternative.
Olivia is a real musician who follows a path of making music and sharing her musical talents with the rest of the world. Olivia’s song lyrics reflect the artist that she is: punchy and personal. Her songs “As Good As It Gets” and “Ordinary Girl” were placed in the 2007 Grammy nominations list for Best Pop Song; and her début album “Ordinary Girl” was nominated for Best Album of the Year. We are truly amazed by her talent; to be picked out of 15,000 artists around the world for the Grammy list in 6 separate pop categories, and also, that she did this as an independent artist.
We believe Olivia’s Grammy ballot nominated debut album, which was recently released in Australia, is a hit record. Our aim is to expose her talents to the rest of the world and we believe the only thing stopping Olivia from reaching her destined stardom is not having the backing of a major label and the financial muscle that every artist needs to become successful.
Our goal, as her management company, is to sign her to a major as soon as possible. We hope that you love her album as much as we do. We welcome your interest and would appreciate your feedback.

Why this name?
Olivia Eden is my real name ~ actually it's my real first name, and my real middle name...
Do you play live?
I am an original acoustic artist, and I like playing live at different city gigs. It's just me and my keyboard. I've now moved to a great big city - and coming from Australia, I'm amazed at how many venues there are for artists in L.A. - my head's still swimming! Where do I start??@#!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's made the music experience better because artists and their music are now more accessible throughout the world to everyone ~ everywhere!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely! Are you kidding!
Band History:
Born in Hollywood, Olivia Eden was always destined to be a star. At the age of 8, Olivia moved from Los Angeles to the Australian bush. She had little in the way of entertainment except for nature and her piano, and it has developed into an inseparable relationship. Olivias unique style sets her apart even though she's been compared with artists like Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Madonna, Enya and The Corrs. Her music is original, spirited, moving and soulful. Her lyrics are honest and unpretentious, expressing human emotion in a myriad of forms with a focus on independence, love, fear, hope and relationships. Passionate about melody, strong harmony, and creating beautiful sounds, pop is where Olivias passion now lies. However, the combination of the two-mastered forms, classical and modern, has helped the musical pop and Enya-esque sensation of Olivia Eden. What emerges from her divergent collections of sounds is an arresting, irresistibly hooky and refreshing pop voice, equally at home with classic pop artists and alternative playlists. Important influences on her music have been George Michael, Sting, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Enya and The Corrs. The sparkling pop sound of her debut EP As Good As It Gets earned her immediate success following its release in Australia, including Single of the Week in Platterlog Magazine, ABC National Radio, five out of five stars in MTV Pop Republic and Chaos Music. All four tracks have also been selected and featured as part of Qantas and Virgin Airlines in-flight music programs. She has music credits on the soundtracks of 2 top rated Aussie TV shows, "Love My Way" (Foxtel - this soundtrack won an award at the Australian Screen Music Awards) and "The Alice", on Network 9, Australia's top TV network, currently licensed to other countries. With her highly acclaimed debut album, Ordinary Girl, Olivia Eden is already cementing her mark in the U.S and worldwide music scene. "Ordinary Girl is destined to see Olivia Eden take her place as one of Australia's leading female singer songwriters" - HMV Music.
Your influences?
I grew up listening to Michael Jackson albums, so it's definitely him but I have to say I've been influenced by Madonna, George Michael, Sting, Enya and The Corrs. I'm inspired by many artists and their music that I couldn't name all of them here.
Favorite spot?
Noosa, it's on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Anything else...?
I love playing and writing music and being involved in the processes of music. I started by playing the piano at an early age, then classical singing, then writing my own music. I am amazed at how far I have come, especially after the 2007 Grammys! It's a great feeling!
