and as close to my name as possible.
Do you play live?
No, not at this time. My most special moment was when I asked my fiance to marry me and again when I finished and released my Debut CD Titled "Kashious"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes it makes it easier to network with others
who are as passionate as yourself. Also it gives you the oppertunity to make it own your
own.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would still sign a contract because I
believe that it is advantageous to have an
independent major or a major label on your
side. There are so many levels that they can take you too, where as the doors would be
opened much easier.

Band History:
Born in Washington D.C., Kashious was raised in a musical family. His mother, brother and sister, all gifted vocalists, shared their love of music both in the home and at church. However, it was influences such as B.B. King, Ernie Isley, Marvin Gaye and Aaron Neville that influenced his style. Kashious would listen to their music over and over while strumming the guitar until he played the chords perfectly. He did the same when learning the drums, the bass and the keyboard; however, his voice is truly a natural born gift. Singer, songwriter and musician, Kashious has a voice that can bring the unprepared listener to his or her knees; it is that powerful, that extraordinary and very rare. This is a voice that has the potential to reach legendary heights. Although he can be compared to greats like Luther Vandross and Marvin Gaye, the quality and beauty of his voice belong to him. His lyrics reflect passion and struggle. In his first R & B single, “Lov’z Eternal,” he speaks with compassion and pain, of enduring that “dark place” more than necessary. His vocal harmonies only add to its impact. Other songs under production such as “Bad Luck” and “The Way I Am” range in genres blending funk, jazz, and soul.
