Theres not much of band, theres just me. Ive been making music about 6 years now and Im finally starting to find my style. I like making different kind of music and I try to focus on the feel. If youre planning to use any of my songs in something, let me know.

Why this name?

When I got dreads for the first time I made up an alter ego Mob Barley and Mobi is just kind of a short version.

Do you play live?

Never played live, would love to though.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think its wonderful that people can share their music more freely now all around the world.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

If they wouldnt try to change who I am and would let me make music I want. Its not the money that counts.

Your influences?

I really dig Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Beck. Although I cant say any number 1 artist because I listen all kinds of music from old funk to heavy rock. Every genre has its pearls.

Favorite spot?

I would have to say Amsterdam. Yes, Amsterdam it is.

Equipment used:

I have Brownsville electric guitar, m-audio keystation 49e, Senheiser e835 mic and loads of other instruments I like to play once in a while, ukulele for example.
