Why this name?
after exhausting a huge list of extremely clever, but already taken monikers, we settled on the old hats out of cynicism.
Do you play live?
if we had more musicians it would be much easier.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well, we are still learning about that.

Band History:
our history is that of a couple of guys who sort of grew up together, played music, moved away, came back home, got bored, then got creative

tom waits, hank III, the gaithers, early nineties alternative.
Favorite spot?
the dark and cold allegheny
Equipment used:
a fostex mr8hd, a low end laptop, a suzuki classical guitar, a hondo banjo and hollow body, an englehart 1/4 size upright bass, a bluesband c harmonica, an epiphone mandolin, an mxl 990 and 2 604's. that and some other very high quality merchandise.
