Drainage X is a Las Vegas based heavy metal band. Their sound comes from many years of combined talent; it is diverse and infectious without being overly commercial. Drainage X’s strongest musical influences are Pantera, Black Sabbath, and King Diamond. Drainage X is known for their theatrical and in your face stage presence; costumes, corpse paint, head banging vampire dancers, props and uncontrollable energy. They have most recently opened up for Tech N9ne at the House of Blues Las Vegas, GWAR at the 2009 Gathering of the Juggalos, and The Adicts at the Vegas Rocks Magazines 5th Anniversary. They have toured and performed with a variety of national acts including ICP, Mushroomhead, Prong, Cattle Decapitation, Primer 55, and many more. In August of 2010 they won the Vegas Rocks Magazine Award for Best Shock Rock Bands as well as being named one of the top 21 band in Las Vegas by Eggman Global and Live2Play Music Network. In June of 2010 they released their third album “End of the World”, which was produced by Tom Parham and features legendary guitarist Marino De Silva on two tracks. Drainage X will be touring nationally throughout 2011 and working on their fourth album which will feature Vinny Appice from Black Sabbath and DIO.
