A friend of ours decided to do his part to save the Earth by not letting gum, which never decomposes, to ruin sidewalks, streets, and shoes. As part of his endeavor, he created a gumball from all of his used gum. At the time our band needed a name, the sweet-smelling, sticky marvel was twenty pounds. Hence, the name. We dedicate ourselves to saving the planet as well through the evangilization of music as a source of fun.

We play live in Seattle,but have been known to tear it up at private parties and on beach front properties.

We will require the audience at each venue we play to create its own 20lb. gumball.

Since 1995, we have been delighting audiences and asking them to grow both emotionally and exponentially through the gift of music. Our motto: what could be more fun than 20 pounds of gum?
