Band History:
Formed in the cool, dark days of 2003, Absent Method set about creating the most emotional tinged metal combined with a clean swing of melody. After recording two early demos in 2003/04, the band experienced internet success with a number 1 hit on soundclick.com, and rave reviews. The 'A New Hope' demo made its way onto the speakers of Los Angeles based label Statue Records, who quickly signed Absent Method to a distribution deal. In 2005, the 'Reality Hurts'self financed EP recieved much acclaim and interest from various record companies (and was reviewed by Roadrunner Records and featured in higly popular metal magazine Rock Sound). The windy Irish winter was spent writing new material and 3 new sounding songs made its way onto the next Absent Method cd. With a new found confidence, diversity and a strong sense of ambeince, combined with the tradtional melodic power chording, Absent Method release 'The Essence of the Sky' in summer 06.
