Er? Basically I'm Phil The Baptist from Dublin, I'm 17 and I've been a bedroom Dj for the best part of 5 years now, I started making my own music about a year and a half ago. I have both original tunes and remixes. I love making music and I listen to just about every genre there is going.
Why this name?
I was listening to a track by Jon The Dentist and I thought I know I'll call myself Phil The Baptist on account of I currently work part-time in St.Mary's Pro-Cathedral Dublin and John The Baptist was in the bible etc. Its not important how I got my name all you need to know is its Phil The Baptist.
Do you play live?
I've played a few gaff partys but thats about it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is definitly an advantage to unsigned artists such as myself as it allows people greater access to are music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I couldn't see myself saying no but I know its never going to happen, I just make music for myself really.

Ferry Corsten, Chemical Brothers, Rex The Dog, James Zambiela and loads more
Favorite spot?
Either the Tolka River or the Bon Secours Hospital in Glasnevin, Dublin, its where my mates and I hang around

Really basic stuff, Fruityloops 4 & 6, Numark CDN22-MK4 professional twin cd. player, Kam DDM-750 Turntables with Kam mix150 mixer and a Prosound 8 channel mixer
