Depends on the contract. i dont think major labels would want to deal with forward thinking individuals. too much trouble for them. in other words, i wouldnt sign a record label that will leave me broke and homeless when the label's tired of me.

legal history? umm.. sold a gun to a kid on the schoolbus when i was in 7th grade, 9th grade shoplifting (petty theft), after dropping out of highschool, i got a drunk in public at 17, various traffic violation in various states between 17 and 20 that i never paid the fines for, 19 years old DUI and driving on suspended (DUI later got dropped), 20 years old i got minor in possession of alcohol, then went to jail for not showing up in court, a month after my 21st birthday i went to jail for a county year (8 months) for hitting a liquor store attendant in the face with a skateboard, and one more trip to jail since then for fighting at a houseparty. ive stayed under the radar since then.
