How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

well for musicians who plan on making a profit and thats what their main goal is for whatever reason i guess its not too cool... but for people who are satisfied with a lot of people hearing their tunes its cool... i like it as a chance to do that... get my music out there.
