Why this name?
mr. keating was the teacher in the film "dead poets society", i have had many teachers like him, i have been fortunate. i feel like i am who i am because of the influence of all the mr. keatings ive met.
Do you play live?
i play locally in CT. as much as i like playing live for people i must say im a born studio musician. i live to record.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it makes so much music readily available to just about anyone, now how can that be a bad thing. its like the radio, but completly untarnished by the corporate monster.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
under very specific very detailed demands i would. i was against it for a long time untill i looked deeper into sonic youth's sitch. they have full artistic say and are ever A&R reps. how hot is that?
Band History:
its not really a band. its just me and every once in a while some friends.
this started with the demise of a band i was in called "soon not sun (sün)" in december of 2002. here, july of 2003. i have a record done.
its been a magical year so far.

new milford and danbury and new preston CT

mac g4, roland digi8track, gibson 1969 acoustic, herman sekova nylon, fender mustang reissue, peavey 2X12, an assortment of sh*** from around my room.
