nanogrrrl is the recording and performing alias of Chloe.

Chloe composes an eclectic mix of intricate electronic music on her Nintendo Gameboy console, ranging from moody hiphop backgrounds to bouncy, innocent and uplifting chip themes.

She describes her attitude and approach to music:
"I want to create music that keeps you engaged. I love to hear unexpected changes, and I tire of relentless repetition. Sometimes you only need to hear something for four bars, and then it has to change. It makes your musical statements bolder."

The name nanogrrrl was inspired by the homebrew music software nanoloop, which Chloe has recently started working with.

"I chose this name as I was concerned about being visible as a woman in a male dominated scene, and I love nanoloop. I am also quite petite, so the name fits."

A talented multi-instrumentalist (vocals, guitar, synths, drums) by nature, Chloe has alot of experience recording and performing music from both sides of the studio glass. She has engineered, programmed and co-produced on various projects and also performs modifications to her equipment.

Chloe is currently working on her debut nanogrrrl E.P, which is due to be released soon.
