Verga was a psychedelic shoegaze style indie rock band existing in Tuscaloosa, AL between 1995 and 1998. The band consisted of Chris on guitars, Matt on bass, and Craig on drums, and a little bit of tension. Simple as that.
Why this name?
Chris and Matt saw similar lettering on vanity plate heading into Birmingham on an overcast morning.

Chris, Craig, and Matt were able to pound some shoegaze indie rock down the throats of some Skynyrd cheering good old boys.....legendary in it's day....
