Why this name?
Mom chose my first name ... dad just happened to have my second name kicking around ... :)
Do you play live?
Yes. Any where they'll let me in (heh-heh). I love live performances. I get such a rush out of watching people enjoying the music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry has done a complete 180 degrees because of the internet. It's provided users with a "kid-in-a-candy-store" sort of situation.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would definitely consider it.
Band History:
I started out playing acoustic guitar at the age of 12, drums at 14, bass at 15, and piano at 19. I was the drummer in my first real band "Axxius" in my late teens. In my early 20's I switched over to bass guitar & keyboards for the "Dirty Mother" band. "Superstone" came next. A local favourite on the scene, we enjoyed playing many high-profile shows in & out of town, opening for such acts as Kim Mitchell, Loverboy, David Wilcox & Sass Jordan. I also co-wrote our first independent CD "Say Something, Anything...". I now play with the group "RetroCrush", as well as "The Jason & Andr? Acoustic Show".
I've been writing music & lyrics, & recording demos for about 25 years now, and my sound is probably best described as "catchy melodic rock with a vintage twist".
