„YOU CAN LABEL ME – JUST MAKE SURE THAT IT´S BIG ENOUGH”
...cause there´s no chance to nail Dean Collins to one style. On his debut album "Go Big Or Go Home" you can hear the influences of rock, country and blues as well as soul music. The album features Johnny Hiland, Dave Talbot and Andy Leftwich from Nashville TN and The world famous Harlem Gospel Choir from New York.

Why this name?
it´s a long boring story!...You don´t wanna hear it - believe me!
Do you play live?
Playing Live is the best!...to reproduce what you have done at the recordings - and let it sound a little different is the challenge...I wouldn´t make any records if I couldn´t play Live worldwide!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it´s much more difficult to sell Albums as a CD in the shops. But it´s a great way for distribution. All around the world there´s a possibility to buy your (my) songs. Illegal mp3 downloads should be seen as a demo, a real Fan would buy the original Album - that´s what I believe...cause the sound from a CD Player is much better than a mp3 file could ever be..and you´re hoplding abooklet in your hands! THAT`SS IMPORTANT FOR FANS!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not Yet! The record labels should change their minds and start giving many bands a chance for the longterm career...But they´re still searching the fast money - but most of the time that´s just a "one hit wonder"!
Band History:
…It´s been a long road
When I started writing songs for this album, I never thought that it would grow so fast. All the different people that I loved to work with on this album inspired and influenced me and the music. I´d like to thank the following guys for their patience, help and inspiration, I know sometimes it´s not easy workin´ with the DEAN. Thanks to: Zacky for playin´that drivin beat and his brother Dimi for helping to record those bangin´drums, Svenja for the cutest backings and a heebie-jeebie (gänsehaut) duet, Andrew for his smart voices and making mine even smarter, Peter for all the good and bad times weaving this album into an atmosphear, Mike for a nasty harp and together with Frederik blowing in the wind, Martin for keepin´ all those percussions tight, Matthias for some real hit guitars (he taught me a joke), Nils for making this album sound a little bit more like Nashville, Mac for supporting me in Nashville, Johnnie for all the great licks that I can´t play, Andy who showed me that he can play whatever I sing, Dave makin´it funky on a banjo, Bill for helping to record those Nashvillers, The Harlem Gospel Choir for making me breathless, Anna and Alan for supporting me at Big Apple, Steve for thinking my thoughts, Carsten for making me look better than I do, Hank for making me look even much more better than I ever thought, Marc for organization and great locations, my mom Krystyna for the patience, my daddy Max for good advice, granny Anna for being there, my brother Michael for keeping those machines workin´, Teresa my lyrical tongue, Leif the webmaster, Maso who takes the words right out of my mouth, The Amazing Bernie Choir: Marie Claire, Jessica, Elaine, Anja, Jordan (JB) Günter, Christian, Peter, Stephan, Krystyna and Marcin…what a crowd, Ralf and ZYX for believing in my music, Hubert,Axel and Albert for fulfilling my equipment dreams…let´s continue this journey

Everyone who makes good music and could live in my neigbourhood. As a Producer I´m listening to everything from Abba over Springsteen across Eminem and ending with Zappa...
Most of all - I guess my favorite hero is ERIC CLAPTON - cuse he has the freedom to change his style without any clue!
