Born 1979 in "DA DISRESPECTFUL WEST COAST" (Watts, Los Angeles, California), BO$$ (BOSS), A.K.A. B.O.$$ (B.O. Double Dollahs), A.K.A. $$ (Double Dollahs) has always been a student of Rap/Hip Hop music. Influenced by the likes of the late great Tupac Shakur, N.W.A, Ice Cue, Snoop Dogg, Scar Face, Outkast, E-40, D.J. Quik, Gang Starr, Mystakal, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z and a long list of others.

Upon completion of High School BO$$ enlisted into the United States Air Force in search of a better life and to escape the trials of the Hood, but soon BO$$ would come to realize that moving from his own Hood didn't mean he wouldn't move to others. While in the Military BO$$ traveled abroad (Texas, Las Vegas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia, Korea, Italy, among numerous places) and grew a love for all different types of Rap/Hip Hop.

In 2005 some tragic events happened that led to BO$$ being incarcerated, and with nothing but time on his hands BO$$ began writing about life events and where he would be some day. He saw this as a type of therapy and kept with it. When BO$$ was released he started putting what he had wrote to different types of beats and realized that something special had been created.

Since the time of his first recording session in Nov 06, he has put the peddle to da metal and has not looked back.
