Sonic Pulse is the brainchild of Thijs Keulen and is nothing more and nothing less than a one-man band trying to make something beautiful.
Do you play live?
I'm the proud member of the band New Red Fading in which I play as a pianist/synthesist. We're trying to fix some gigs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the music industry a lot because more unknown bands can rise and more artists can be heard. It aso makes artist more independent.
That, and people can listen to whatever they want and are not bound to their local music shop/radio. It's affecting the major record company's too because people would rather download than buy the CD (and that's due to the fact that record company's haven't contracted any innovating artists since a while) so live performances, merchandise and the artist brand will be more focused on.

Hrm, depends on the contract...
Band History:
I learned to play the piano, fell in love with music, learned some stuff about synthesis, bought some gear and tried to make my own music.
Your influences?
Changes all the time but my biggest influences are: Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Portishead, Aphex twin, Autechre and BoC.
Favorite spot?
Taizé and Berlin
