This is it, all I'm worth. I go by Ceotwo, I am what I am & I do what I do. I'm hoping to finish and release my C.D. "Fractured construct" by this summer.
For all those who don't know me I was born & raised most my life in calgary, after moving back and forth from victoria to calgary a couple of times I now live on the west coast and have no intentions of leaving.
When I'm ripped I usually think about incredibly eccentric off the wall oddball shit, like quantum physics or the possibility of multiple universes (a multi-verse) and how it ties into and becomes a relevant part of how we live our day to day routine life. I try to work my theories into my lyrics where I can. I love asking questions that can't possibly be answered, they keep people guessing.I also like the concept of the third eye/sixth sense, I'm a spiritual person but I feel organized religions have done more harm to us than they've done to help us. It all comes out in the songs I guess....

Why this name?
My name chose me, I had nothing to do with it really...
Do you play live?
I freestyle like a drunken fool at house parties, alot of my nicest rhymes where concieved "in the moment" and will never be repeated (or remembered..)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love what the internet has done for independent artists. The record industry has never had to deal with an artist being able to promote himself around world without signing with a label and in most cases losing creative control of his work, until now. This is probably the biggest threat major labels have ever faced... I don't worry too much about downloading music either, from what I understand the majority of the money the bands keep (signed or unsigned) is from merchandise and ticket sales
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm seriously just f***in around, I don't know if thats the kinda life I'm looking for. I'm comfortable in the underground scene it feels right to me, I really don't want the mainstream exposure...
Your influences?
Buck 65, Sole, Alias, Adeem, Dose one, Sage Francis, Slug, Eyedea & Abilities,Sixtoo, Aceyalone, Company Flow, Defari, Madchild, Gangstarr, Mr.lif, Esoteric, Virtuoso, Demigodz and all the pioneers/creators of hip hop.
Favorite spot?
Where I am is where it's at. I like taking trips over to vancouver for big events though...
Equipment used:
Two microh turn-tables (I like them a bit more than the technics) a vestax pro 7 and an I-mac (I'm using garage band for now until I can afford something better).
Anything else...?
yeah, there is actually. When I was like 5 or 6 I used to catch bull frogs and sell them off at 25 cents a peice, then watch a turtle rip them apart (true story). I think I like my site on my space better than this one check it out at www.myspace.com/ceotwo
