Once Beautiful
The Last Dance is a modern alternative rock band from Orange County California. The music is a hard hitting blend of basic guitar, bass & drums rock ‘n’ roll with new wave, postpunk, darkwave, techno and electronica. We have been compared to artists like David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Stabbing Westward, VNV Nation and The Cure among others.
Why this name?
The name The Last Dance was one of many names vocalist Jeff Diehm and guitarist Rick Joyce thought of when they decided to start a new project. One night, they narrowed it down to 2 names, The Last Dance being one of them. It was decided that whichever name they remembered the following day would be the name of the new musical project. Do you play live?
As often as possible. We've performed all over the US, Mexico City, and Europe. We love playing live. It's instant, personal, and passionate.
