I was orginally named after John the Baptist from the Bible by my mother, in 1976 while touring the world performing with the San Francisco band Race N' Rythum I shorten the spelling of my first name resurrected my middle name and kept my last name. I thought it sounded more like the international personailty and lover of woman I am.

I have been Singing/entertaining professionally, locally,nationally and internationallyy since 1968, so of course I love it!, my first professional gig openning up for Ike and Tina Turner at The Egyptian Theatre Milwaukee Wi 1968 what I remember most was using the same dressing room as the Iketts and James Brown and Al Green 1971 in The Milwaukee Auduitorium and working with Bob Marley and Toots and The Maytels in Jamaica in 1969 having conversations with them about the Rasja faith smoking and drinking 151 proof rum was definitely a Highlight!! Then later performing and touring with Motown's legendary group Jr. Walker's All-star Band as lead their vocalist. Learning and performing with the pioneers of Rock,R&B,Reggae and Soul has been my joy.

Jon has share the stage with such musical legends as Jerry Butler, Ike & Tina Turner, James Brown, Al Green, Temptations, Pete Escovedo, The Tubes, Miles Davis, Drummer Aynsley Dunbar (Journey, Frank Zappa), Chi-lites, Moms Mabley, BB King, The Contours, Freda Payne, Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night) and Reggae legends Toots & the Maytels and Bob Marley through-out his career.
