Ignite Mindz is a hip hop head from Winston Salem NC that started rappin in 2000 and started making beats in 2004. He started out in a group with Imagery, and made an album called "IGNITE AND IMAGERY: THOUGHTS." Once that album was finished he started immediately on his album Psychological Warfare. Ignite Mindz really feels that this is a classic album. the beats, lyrics and subject matter carry a wide range. the songs push the creative envelope without trying to be wierd (like so many underground rappers are these days). It's an album that appeals to everybody with lyrics that everyone can relate to. "But you know this sh*** is for the hip hop heads, I write to impress other emcees but I make sure regular people would say ohhh sh*** to those same lyrics," says Ignite Mindz. The production on the album is by Ignite Mindz and veteran producer Segundo. just check out the songs. NC STAND THE f*** UP

hells yeah! favorite moments are when the crowd is mouthin the lyrics. He rocks with a DJ, singers, a rhazel type mof***er. cover rappers delight with the bass guitar and break beats. crowd participation freestyles, turntable battles. its the jam.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
of course, in this world where few bands are able to get on the radio. the internet is saving music while destroying the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
not til i make it pop independent. then i want my multimillion dollar signing bonus. they f*** you over when u just sign with them off the bat. record labels can be evil, look at all the horror stories of the bands that werent wildly successful.
