I'm just a guy who loves to produce music that hopefully touches you some fiber of your very soul and makes you just sit back and wonder.
Why this name?
My friends actually thought of it and it just stuck.
Do you play live?
I have played a few live shows, nothing super major and I'm not a resident DJ at this time. I got plenty of time for that if I wanna do it later
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's completely changed everything about it. Now at a few simple clicks of a button, you have everything in front of you.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, but I'd like to finish school before I even entertain that thought.
Band History:
With his slamming beats and heart pounding tracks, DJ Vio-Lator is quickly becoming known as a talented musical artist. Having made music a main part of his life for over the past 6 years, DJ Vio-Lator continues to look for new ways to evolve his music.

DJ Vio-Lator began his journey as a musical artist over 6 years ago in late 2000, when he bought a simple $10 music making program. He used this program, MTV Music Generator, to began to understand the science of music-making. After working with this for around 6 months, he moved up to a more complete program, Magix Music Maker. This program allowed him to be more complete with his music making and to really allow him to express himself as an artist.

In early 2003, DJ Vio-Lator bought his first deck and starting spinning on the side, but music creation was still his first priority. However, he experienced a fall out in late 2003 after experiencing financial difficulities, the music was put on hold.

After getting himself back on his feet, DJ Vio-Lator starting trying to reinvent himself as a musical artist. He started collaborating with local area DJs and bouncing ideas and music off of them. They gave him a whole new outlook on his music and he took a great amount away from these sessions.

The music creation continued until the summer of 2005 when DJ Vio-Lator was diagnosed with cancer. Once again, the music had to be put on hold. After months of recovery and working hard to get himself healthy again, the music making was able to resume in late 2005.

Given a second chance at life, DJ Vio-Lator was determined to make the most of it. He his hoping to have his first full length album released sometime this year.

Having also DJ'ed a few successful shows, DJ Vio-Lator hopes to continue to work on his spinning and mixing as a side project, hoping to start touring locally on a regular basis starting sometime next year. By doing this, he not only hopes to get his music spread to a wider audience, but hopes he can prove that he is not only a talented music creator, he can also mix it up with some of the best.
