Why this name?
Brother Hood is a group of mcee's and producers from Sunset Park Brooklyn!!! It started when my brother Thanos began to learn to make beats on the playstation one's MTV Music Generator!! I got curious and told him to learn me how to make beats!! What we made at first was helarious!! We were makin beats that had us on the floor laughing!! Literally!! Then we started takin it seriously and figured if other heads could do this why cant we?? So we started milkin the Generator hard and makin beats on it that were bangers!! We copped the playstation 2's MTV Music Generator 2 and learned how to make beats on that too and those were the ones that fully convinced us that this was for us without a question!! Now were rockin fruity loops and sound forge!! To this day when we show heads the beats they are blown away cause they are bangers and were made on a playstation!! Haha!! One day we showed Dj.Seb of Infamous Mobb our beats and he says what do you use to make your beats, an mpc 2000?? A triton??? Were like nah, a playstation!! He was like what??? Our beat grind is serious!! We talked about a name to represent us and we came up with Brother Hood cause were blood brothers!! The best thing about the name is, a brother hood is group of people who stick with each other through all the bullshit and never think twice about it, and all the people that are with us are just that!! They all earned their stripes!! Everybody from Brother Hood is from 60st in brooklyn!! The only person I didnt meet on the block was Freddy Cee!! I met him through a wanna be female butch mcee that I was once cool with!! Real recognize real and he stayed with us!! Brother Hood is branching out right now with other groups that are down with us!! We got plenty of beats and we want to spread them like a virus!! So let it be known!! BROTHER HOOD IS COMIN!! One more thing....Never forget that this is STREET REVOLUTION!!!! What we hear on the radio and see on T.V. is all brain washing statements made by people that want you believe something that aint real!!!
