Still Burning Bright demo
The Troutman resides in the beautiful glacier formed hills of west central Wisconsin. He is new to writing lyrics and music but has a passion and gift from God to make it a life long pursuit. His inspiration comes from the endless truths and wonders God has hidden in his creation. Some what reserved, the Troutman has also found songwriting to be an outlet to express his faith, personal views, and struggles through the trials of his life. He hopes you will be blessed through his songs.
Why this name?
When I don't have a pen or guitar in my hand I'll be holding a flyrod.
Do you play live?
No, it would help if I could sing and didn't have stage fright :) Someday I hope to play in a band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens a much larger door of opportunity for all of us. If your reading this the point is proven.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If an artist like me became very successful on the internet alone then I would avoid it because of all the strings and drawbacks a contract imposes.
