Bass Line Vitals played the Santa Cruz scene for a few years...if you can call it a scene...Band members include: Sam Fischer, Isaac Fischer, Richard Edwards, Thomas Botari, Gabe O'Brien, & Brian Brown.
They've written some kick ass songs, some made it on to demo cd's, others are now light years away, drifting through space as soundwaves, hoping to break and barrel into some alien shoreline.
Hopefully someone will be there to ride them.

Why this name?
We had an EMT and an aspiring EMT in the band...Sam was learning about base line vitals, and, in the spirit of the Beatles, we changed a letter.
Do you play live?
We aren't playing any longer. Sam and Isaac have formed a new group, Miznoma, and they are playing live in Santa Cruz. Richard is finishing college and writing songs and producing them in his home studio. Thomas is playing live in San Francisco with his band The Whiskey Thieves. I haven't talked to Gabe in years, but I'm guessing he is fighting fires and saving lives. Brian is a teacher in the bay area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Profit Margins and attitudes.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You'd be stupid not to.
