PolyAxis is Steve Wood, an eclectic artist who's song writing style is said to have a "chameleon like" quality. His song lyrics often have multiple meanings. Steve is a one man song writing and recording band. You can find a lot more of his music, lyrics and other information at his personal site,
www.PolyAxis.com.

Why this name?
“I’ve always had a tendency to explore any subject of interest in multiple directions or from multiple angles. The word Polyaxis is kind of meant to imply that in my music. I’ve never been too good at sticking to any one genre. It all comes from the same place anyway (somewhere beyond me, I think). So why deny myself all that fun?”
Do you play live?
Steve has played many live shows, with many different bands in the past. But these days, prefers to write and record at home.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
“I think the Internet has changed and continues to change the music industry in countless ways. One of my favorite ways is how it has facilitated the acquaintance and collaboration of artist in different locations all over the world. Check out what Kim Brunner and I have been able to do as Mesmeriah, thanks to the Internet.” Kim Novak is another golden voiced Song Goddess I like to do collaborations with. And again, the Internet has made it possible. You’ll likely find some of our work on my page here at SoundClick.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
"Mmm . . . depends. Possibly, but doubtful ;)"
Your influences?
Hendrix, Blackmore, Clapton, Page Townshend, Orbison, Kay, Santana, May, Sting, Walsh, Shcolz, Schon, Springsteen, Fogerty, 38sp, Everly, Holly, etc. etc. etc.
