Rosevelt was born G. Mychal Foddrell, in Dayton, Ohio. In the late 80's his mother relocated the family to Southern Cali's imfamous Inland Empire. Rosevelt now lives on the Eastside of Long Beach where him and his Grindmode team have been making some serious noise! From opening up for "Ray Cash" (sony) and "Mobb Deep" (G-Unit) to throwing his own Grindmode shows in Long Beach, Rosevelt sets the bar for the type of grind it takes to make it in this music biz. In May 2005 Rosevelt released the now classic street E.P. "Streets Iz Mine Vol.1" and sold 3,000 copys on the Eastside alone. Streets Iz Mine even churned out a ..1 record on L.A's top indie radio station 1580 indiemix when The westcoast anthem "World Premiere" held the ..1 spot 2 weeks in a row! Rosevelt's resume' expands each day, from tv shows(Hollyhood E-TV aired march 17th, new episode featuring Grindmode coming july on comcast) to various spots thru out L.A(BB. kings, tha joint, L.A. convention center, Celebrity centre, Rhythm Lounge, Club 49, ETC... Rosevelt's short term goals are releasing the Grindmode CD/DVD R-U-N Grindmode? and pushing it to 10,000 units. Make no mistake, the youngsta won't slack 4 a minute, so expect to hear the first single titled "I'm in grindmode" on radio stations and clubs near you!
