Scars of a Forgotten Yesterday
Blood Oath, originally known as Calm Before Calamity, was formed in early January 2005, and originally consisted of three members: Tucker on lead guitar, Jen on keyboard, and Ryan on rhythm guitar. They went through many members before finally emerging with their current line-up.

Why this name?
Blood Oath has many different meanings to us. One is when Jesus Christ died on the cross he, essentially, made and oath in blood with mankind.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry is constantly evolving and changing, and the internet is definately the next step. With just about everyone having an mp3 player now, giving people a chance to here one or two of your songs before buying your album is a good way to gain fans quickly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's a possiblity in the future, but at the moment we'd rather get signed to an indie label.
