Hey all! Glad you stopped by. We are a traditional bluegrass and gospel group based in Warrenton, Virginia.
Why this name?
We live next to a creek run which in the summer evenings is shrouded in a wispy mist, hence the name.
Do you play live?
Some playing live at church etc.. Mostly home studio recording for personal enjoyment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows anyone to distibute their music to the world without expensive recording sessions or fighting "tooth and nail" with a recording label.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe!
Band History:
We started the band a little over three years ago to have some fun.
Your influences?
Classic Rock and Roll (Beatles, Led Zepplin, CCR, Rush, Pink Floyd, Hendrix); Classic Country Music (Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, George Jones); Bluegrass (Monroe, Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Stanley Bros); and Blues (BB King, Clapton, Hooker and Stevie Ray Vaughn)

Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Banjo, Mandolin, Electric Bass, Dobro, Fiddle, Kurzweil Digital Piano, Behringer/Fender Amps, Fostex MR-HD Digital Multitracker , "Dave's Ultimate Machine" custom built digital audio workstation (DAW) w/Sonar software.
