Why this name?
Troparion means change, mutation and it refers to a very early practice of changing the text of popular songs to made them appropiate for the church.
Is this image of permanent change what atracts us from the name Troparion and that we try to bring to the music we play.

Do you play live?
Yes, we do specially enjoy live playing. I we could choose to do only this instead of recording we'd do!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It made (we hope) the industry think about what people really appreciate.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would be very funny if any major label asks us to sign a record contract... not very probable... but we wouldn't say no!
Band History:
Troparion has a base of four musicians that make the core of it. To this basic formation we add as much musicians as the program needs.
Troparion has performed in many cities of Spain and Europe. Actually we are touring with our last program "Sotto Notturno Ciel" with italian XVIIth's Century music.
