Also go to my other band page under the name Harvey Cedars !!!!! I am a 60 year old jazz flavored rock/blues guitarist. I am looking for a paying weekend gig anywhere in the Southwest within a days driving distance from Phoenix Arizona (preferably in the Phoenix area). The music on this site is my resume as a guitarist. Please enjoy it.
Why this name?
I thought it was a funny nom de plume back in the sixties.
Do you play live?
I am looking for a paying live gig.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives us all a chance to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure can you get me one?
Band History:
The music I have on this site is my resume, I am looking for a paying gig as a guitarist. I am a 60 year old guitarist, I was at the original Woodstock event as a fan. I have been playing guitar since the sixties, when a friend dosed me. Then he snuck up behind me and clapped the headphones on me, and lo and behold I was inside of Crossroads by the Cream. Been playing ever since.
Your influences?
Roy Buchannan, Bob Aslanian, Emily Remler, Eric Clapton, BB King, John McLaughlin, Al DeMeola, The Temptations, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, AC DC, The Beatles, and especially Jimi Hendrix the greatest phenomenon of them all.
Favorite spot?
North San Diego County Cali.
Equipment used:
I record to a Windows based computer using a Layla 24/96 as my mixer, samples and a Yamaha SW 1000 XG as my sound generator for the rhythm sections.
Anything else...?
I have the recording equipment to produce a finished CD quality product.
