Chucky Chase is one of the most exciting artists and entrepreneurs coming up in hip-hop today. Louisiana-bred Chucky was raised by a single mother in Labadieville & downtown New Orleans along with his three younger sisters. Musically gifted, he started playing in a jazz band before he was a teenager. He continued to play the trombone for 8 years before branching off to other instruments and refining his writing skills. His career path was set in motion at the early age of 14 with the release of the album Ruthless Emotions from former record label Vikin Records. Since then Chucky Chase has released a constant array of diverse tracks that touch on everything from the club hit “It’s like that, it’s like this” (feat. MEL 985) to the inspirational “Keepin it 2 too Real.” Always touching on his personal experiences and struggles he strives to maintain that truth in his music.

Overflowing with potential, Chucky Chase not only writes all of his music but is also a producer and CEO of the record label he founded in 2005 at the young age of 19. 2Faced Records, Inc. was established with the goal for himself and his artists to maintain the independence, dignity, loyalty, respect and power that this industry most often strips away. Under the 2Faced label he has sold over 10,000 records and counting. His repertoire includes the album Play the Game Raw as well as over 6 mixtapes; Crucial Status, Check They Swag, Outer State Huslin, Last Man Standin, Hit em Up, Southern Northwest Vol 1, and Crime Wave (The Plot) Vol 1. A short time ago Chucky took on the pseudonym “Target.” He has remained tight lipped about taking on the moniker but states, “There is dual meaning behind the name. Essentially it is a representation of where I am and what I’m aiming to achieve.” Creatively, 2010 has found Chucky evolving new sounds for his music. He reached out to Todd Brown of Everlasting Funk Productions to create his new project, 1 Man Army. Chucky has since released 5 singles: " I’m a Street Husla" , "The Game Has My Soul", "Head Up", "Shawty Got a Back On Her", and "I Can't See It.” He has also released two videos for the singles "I’m a Street Husla", and "The Game Has My Soul" which have received over 20,000 views respectively within a month of their release. An ever expanding performer, Chucky Chase also has 20 more videos in his arsenal to coincide with the January 2011 release of his 1 Man Army Album.
