Well im a 20 year old guy who loves to play guitar and loves to learn. I have only my very first recordings of my songs but I guess that they will do until i get better ones up. Why this name?
Well my name is Pretty much just my first and middle name. It used to be Benjamin Angel but it sounded too corny and fake so I asked a girl that I like to choose between the present name and another. she picked Benjamin James so thats what it is.
Do you play live?
I do play live, mostly at parties. Every moment that i get a compliment or I see someone in the crowd nodding their head as if they are connecting with my music gives me the best feeling in the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would definitely sign with a major record label. If I get as much joy playing to a massive crowd as I do from a small one, I would never be able to get happier.
Your influences?
I would have to say that god is my greatest influence because without him I wouldnt have anything. MY mother is huge as well, she is always singing and she is who puts the joy into it. John Mayer and Dave matthews are my biggest influence on the whole feel and subjectivity of my music I think.
Favorite spot?
I would have to say that my favorite spot is anywhere with friends. My favorite city I would have to say is Sarasota, FL.
